We bring the right tools, deal with the missing-screw moment, and take the packaging away. For a houseful after a move we work through the list in a single visit where we can.

TV, mirror and picture mounting

Mounting a TV well means finding the studs or fixing into masonry properly, getting it level, and hiding the cables rather than leaving them dangling. We mount flat and tilting brackets, run the cables in trunking or in the wall where the build allows, and do the same for heavy mirrors and framed pictures that need a fixing that will hold. What jobs does a handyman do, and what needs a specialist?

Do you charge by the hour, half-day or day?
We price the job, not the clock. After a quick call or a look at your list we give you a fixed price for the visit, usually a half-day or a full day depending on how much there is, so the number does not creep while the kettle is on. For a single quick job we will tell you honestly whether it is worth a minimum visit charge or better bundled with other items on a later date. For landlords and agents with regular work we agree a rate per visit or a maintenance schedule. It is the same fixed-price approach we use on the bigger building work: you know the cost before we start.
