Case Study: Hallway, Stairs And Landing (HSL) Decoration – Clapham

We recently completed a hallway, stairs and landing (HSL) decoration project in Clapham for one of our clients and wanted to share how it went here in our blog.

A client got in touch as they required their Hallway, Stairs and Landing decorated. They previously had attempted to decorate themselves but soon found it was a task too big for them – as it was across 5 floors – and given they had a small family to look after. Our client wanted the decoration to be complete before Christmas.

We visited the property and agreed on what needed to be done. The customer has chosen 2 Farrow and Ball colours (Cornforth White and Strong White) to go above and below the dado rail. We recommended using Johnstones to match the Farrow on Ball colours, this had two benefits: 1) It was cheaper, and 2) Johnstone’s do a more durable paint that would be less prone to scuffs and more suitable below the dado rail as they had children.

Once we confirmed the colours with the client and agreed on the date, the arranged for the paint was delivered to the customer’s property by our trusted paint supplier, Brewers.

We started the project on time and finished on time. We walked the client through when we finished to ensure the client was happy with everything.
