Most renovations take 2-4 weeks. We’ll discuss temporary arrangements during your consultation. If you have a second bathroom, that’s usually fine. For single-bathroom households, we can sometimes phase the work to maintain basic access, though this depends on the scope.
Your choice. Some clients want to select every fixture themselves—we’ll install whatever you provide. Others prefer us to source materials, which we’re happy to do. We can advise on what works well and what to avoid.
Victorian and Edwardian houses often have lead pipes, outdated waste systems, or other issues that need addressing. We’ll assess your existing plumbing during the survey and include any necessary upgrades in the quote. Better to know the full picture upfront.
Usually possible, though it adds to the job. Repositioning fixtures means moving drainage and waste pipes, which has cost and complexity implications. We’ll assess what’s feasible during the site visit—sometimes the soil stack position limits options.
Electrical work in bathrooms must comply with Building Regulations. Our NICEIC certification allows us to self-certify this work, so you receive proper documentation without involving your local Building Control office separately.
