Paint roller covering with paint

Most of you probably used rollers, but not in a proper way. However, the best technic often doesn’t work with low-quality equipment. Load the roller with paint into about half into the liquid. The roller is almost dipping with paint by then. It is a simple and quick method for smooth loading. Even if you coat latex, then it’s not easier like the mentioned technic.

Here are the advantages of using the bucket and screen for rolling as following.

• It’s easier to move the bucket without any movement.

• Bucket holds more paint. So, you don’t have to fill it soon.

• You need less movement in a bucket of paid.

• It is very quicker and easier to load and cover paint from the bucket.

• It is easy to prevent drying the paint while it remains in the bucket. Just put a damp cloth on the bucket while you are not using it.

How to paint the wall properly

Take a good quality roller cover made of wool. It is an important part of the rolling set up. Lay the paint and spin it with a quality wooled-blend roller cover will give a smoother spin. After loading the paint in the roller, give your wall sweeping strokes. Start from the bottom that is about a foot away from the corner and roll upward. Use it slightly angled from the light and stop before reaching the ceiling. After that, roll up down to the back corner quickly to spread the paint as much as possible. You can take a rest at this point. Don’t worry it will be perfect. You must repeat the steps until the wall is painted.

Rolling setup

Instead of buying a wool-blend roller cover, you can also use a poly/wool cover. The polyester and wool combination enhances the painting ability to its maximum with proper care. It will be durable for a long period.

It is also handy for giving perfect shading. These wool covers tend to matt down too much pressure during painting. This roller covers work with a little touch. So, with the chance of having shoulder pain pushing the roller cover, you can use the last drop out of it.

Perfect paint job

The smoother the paint, the perfect it is. If you are skilled enough to roll the cover horizontally and vertically, you can finish painting smoothly. Keep the edges wet. The best rolling technic covers the whole area with paint at the first attempt, then smoothening it out. Lay the brush quickly, not to make it late will make the smoother painting. It helps to keep the whole area wet. The longer period you take, the painting area will be dry off slowly. Before washing, use your putty knife to scrape the excess paint out from the roller. Don’t press very hard during smoothening the paint.
