We recently completed a 1 bedroom flat decoration project for a client in Twickenham and wanted to share some notes on the project.
Our client urgently needed a reliable decorator to paint her new flat before she moved in around Christmas. She was referred to All Well Property Services by a previous customer who was very happy with the decorating service we provided for her 2-bedroom flat.
We needed to get the job done quickly and to a high standard. Luckily as it was close to Christmas had a small gap in our calendar to make it happen!
To make this smooth and successful decorating project, we confirmed the free quote promptly after viewing the flat, which was possible before she got the keys. After we sent the quote, we followed up with a phone call and answered some client questions. As time was of the essence, the client confirmed that she would like to go ahead with our free quote for decorating her flat.
The client then paid the deposit we usually require to schedule in our diary.
The client confirmed which colour they wanted shortly after confirming the job, which allowed us to order the paint and materials we needed to be delivered to the property by Brewers.
As a previous client referred us and saw the fantastic reviews left by our previous clients, she gave us the key to the flat, which allowed us to start early and leave late during the project.
Luckily, there was no furniture in the flat during the project, which allowed us to work faster against the tight timeline. Moving furniture can increase the price of a decorating quote as it takes more time to move, protect, and work around furniture.
The client did not have time to check the colour on the wall, so before we got too far ahead, we put a small amount on the wall and let the customer see how it looked. (She was happy!)
Overall this was a successful painting and decorating project. We finished on time. No major snags. The customer was happy!
